10 ways to identify if your lawyer is right for you
The ideal lawyer will not only have a string of impressive mandates or gold lettering on the door. He will be caring, concerned, and devoted to their work. You should think carefully before placing your trust in a lawyer after all in some cases your life, time, money or property will be in the hands.
In addition to doing extensive research to short list possible lawyers you must ensure that no conflict of interest, you understand that all costs of the agreement, and that you have to check references and details about the practice.
Your lawyer will know the chosen one is perfect if:
1. He makes an effort to spend your time to understand it themselves. He will not provide legal assistance to take the facts of the case down.
2. From the experience and knowledge he will know what is relevant and what is not. He will be set aside and disregard the facts that are not relevant, personal opinions, and emotions that occur in the hands of the cloud.
3. He will insist that the case made for the feet thoroughly. All facts must be checked for accuracy and solid arguments jotted with backing from the previous rulings.
4. He will not only focus on the problem, but in the hands of examining the problem from all sides. This will create a complete picture with all the relevant factors and approaches that can happen.
5. He will use his foresight and anticipate moves by opposition or opinion of the jury or the judge and plan way ahead. Like the master chess player he will plan the case not many days but by next hearing.
Proxy. Someone who acts as your proxy to act on your behalf – you have given them the legal right to speak for you. For example, if you get a lawyer to handle your company’s incorporation, they will enter it for you by proxy.
